Privacy Policy
This site is the official Shadowrocket website and user guide. This policy applies when you read the guides, navigate between pages or use the App Store link. It explains how those activities involve data and does not replace the privacy information provided by the app or Apple.
1. Scope and information you submit
This site provides static pages and has no registration, login, comments or email newsletter forms. You are not asked to provide your name, email address, phone number or payment information. You can read the guides without submitting your Shadowrocket configuration, subscription URL, server password or other connection credentials.
This site does not provide proxy servers. The app’s one-time purchase is not a service plan. Obtain any subscription or server details you already use from your service provider, and use them in the app as needed. Do not include these details in URLs for this site, search parameters or feedback, as they may appear in access logs.
2. Access data and analytics
When you visit a page, the hosting service may log the request time, path, response status, IP address, and device and referral information provided by your browser. These technical logs support page delivery, troubleshooting and site security; they are not account details you have submitted.
This site uses analytics to understand page views, device categories and how visitors arrive, helping improve navigation and documentation and identify broken pages. Clicking a store button may generate an “open product page” event. This records a click only; it does not mean you purchased or installed the app. Analytics cannot read Apple orders, payment information or in-app traffic.
How long access logs and analytics data are retained depends on the hosting and analytics settings. This policy does not promise that all technical records are deleted immediately. Data processing should be limited to what is needed to operate and maintain the site and analyze its content; subscription details and connection credentials should not be collected as analytics fields.
3. Cookies and local storage
Your browser may cache content to deliver pages. Depending on the analytics configuration, this site may also use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish sessions and repeat visits. Local storage and cookies are separate technologies; neither should be used to store service-provider credentials or payment information.
Use your browser’s site data settings to view, restrict or clear this site’s cookies, local storage and cache. Restricting or clearing storage may affect saved preferences and analytics accuracy, but the guides remain available through standard page links. Browser settings do not automatically delete existing server logs or aggregated analytics.
4. App Store links and purchases
The only place to buy and get Shadowrocket is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. After you leave this site, account verification, payment, purchase restoration and related data processing are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies. Your browser may send referral information when you follow the link, depending on your browser and the page policy.
This site does not collect your Apple Account password, payment card details or proof of purchase, and a store-button click does not confirm an order. Check the App Store page for pricing, system requirements and purchase availability. For information about how the app handles data, consult the App Store privacy disclosures and in-app information.
5. Choices and information security
You can stop browsing this site, change your browser’s privacy settings or check product information directly in the App Store. After using a public or shared device, clear your browsing history and site data as appropriate. Do not share subscription URLs, passwords or complete logs containing personal information in public.
For help with app operation and common issues, see Troubleshooting or the Getting Started guide. These pages provide guidance; they are not forms for submitting personal information. This site has no email collection form. Do not submit complete credentials when troubleshooting.
6. Policy updates and effective date
If site features, analytics methods or the scope of data processing change, the relevant terms will be revised on this page and the “Last updated” month at the top will be updated. This page describes the currently published policy. We will not notify you of policy changes by asking for passwords or payment information.
If a feature requiring you to submit personal information is added in the future, we will explain what information is collected, why it is needed and what choices you have before you submit it. A general statement in this policy cannot replace that specific notice.
